  Jacques Bermon Webster III (born April 30 1993) is a popular American rapper. The stage name he uses is a tribute to the name of a favorite uncle combined with the first name of one of his idols, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major-label contract with Epic Records and a publishing agreement with Kanye West's GOOD Music. Scott signed a joint-recording contract with Epic and T.I. He's signed to Epic and T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut album, Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in 2013. In 2013 Scott released his debut full-length mixtape Owl Pharaoh. The album was followed by Days Before Rodeo. Rodeo (2015) was his first album of studio work. It featured the hit song "Antidote". His follow-up album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first album to reach the top spot on the Billboard 200. Scott released his second album with Quavo, Huncho Jack Huncho (2016). The album was the third album he had recorded with Astroworld. He also released his first Billboard Hot 100 #1 single, "Sicko Mode" which featured Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records release the compilation album JackBoys in the latter part of 2019. The album was a top contender for the Billboard 200. His single, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. in the year 2020, Scott became the first artist on the Hot 100 to have three songs debut at number one within less than a year.
