Miley Ray Cyrus was born Destiny Hope Cyrus on November 23rd, 1992. She is an American performer, songwriter, and actress. Her unique voice is known for her musical influences, which include country, pop, hip hop, experimental rock, and much more. With 13 entries, Cyrus holds the record for the most US Billboard 200 top five albums of the 21st century performed by a female artist. The controversy surrounding her private life, public appearances and performance has always generated media attention. Cyrus is the daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, emerged as a teenager idol playing the main character on the Disney Channel television series Hannah Montana (2006-2011). Hannah Montana was a US Billboard 200 number-one, three-times top five soundtrack artist, and the US Billboard Hot 100's number-one track, "He Could Be The One". Cyrus's personal discography includes US number-one albums Meet Miley Cyrus (2007), Breakout (2008) and Bangerz (2012) as well as the top five releases Can't Be Tamed (2017), Younger Now (2017) and Plastic Hearts (2020); as well as Miley Cyrus & His Dead Petz (2015). The top-five also included Cyrus's EPs The Time of Our Lives (2009) and She Is Coming (1999). Plastic Hearts was Cyrus's most popular album and debuting at the top of the Billboard Rock Chart. It was the album that featured the lead track, "Midnight Sky". Her other singles include US top ten in the charts "See You Again", "7 Things", "The Climb", "Party in the U.S.A.", "Can't Be Trapped", "We Can't Stop", "Malibu", "Without You"; and the chart-topping "Wrecking Ball". The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) confirmed "Party in America" as an official Diamond. Cyrus's career accolades include entries in the Time 100 list in 2008 and 2014, MTV's Best Artist of 2013 Award, and placement on Billboard's Greatest of All Time Artists Chart in 2019. She is often regarded as one of the few examples of successful child actors-turned-singers. Cyrus was an actor and has been featured in Bolt (2008), Hannah Montana: The Movie (2010) and The Last Song (2010). On television, Cyrus played an instructor for the singing competition series The Voice across two seasons, and was a guest on the episode "Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too" of the Netflix series Black Mirror (2019). Cyrus is an ardent advocate for animal rights. She began her vegan diet in 2014. In 2014, she created the Happy Hippie Foundation which focuses on homeless youth and the LGBT community.
