Miley Ray Cyrus was born Destiny Hope Cyrus on November 23rd, 1992. She is an American performer, songwriter, and actress. Her unique voice is known for her musical influences, which include country, pop, hip hop, experimental rock, and much more. Cyrus was an actor and has been featured in Bolt (2008), Hannah Montana: The Movie (2010) and The Last Song (2010). On television, Cyrus played an instructor for the singing competition series The Voice across two seasons, and was a guest on the episode "Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too" of the Netflix series Black Mirror (2019). Cyrus is an ardent advocate for animal rights. She began her vegan diet in 2014. In 2014, she created the Happy Hippie Foundation which focuses on homeless youth and the LGBT community.
