Milana

 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American comedian, actress and activist. She was born in Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and began her career after immigrating from Israel to the United States as a child actor. The appearances she made as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials from 2013 to 2016 - and then in 2020 - have made her famous. She was a regular host on Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015) and had a recurring role in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). Vayntrub has also been voiced as Squirrel Girl in the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after being cast as Squirrel Girl in the unaired TV pilot for New Warriors. Vayntrub is an Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native and a Jew. Her parents, who were at the age of two, came to America to escape antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. At the age of five, she began appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was in part due to the economic hardships in her family. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. But she dropped out of school following her sophomore year. She obtained the GED and was able to earn an undergraduate degree in Arts (Communication) from the University of California San Diego. She studied improv with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
